Holly - Collecting and Sculpting
Holly with her Prince

Holly has been an avid "Santa collector" for years. She has over 50 sculpted Santas (ranging from 14" to "larger than life"), numerous elves and fairies, plus about 75 carved and/or painted Santas... and then there are the Santa ornaments - not sure just how to get a real count on this collection - but it has expanded beyond a single storage room (these pieces are on display between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day)!

Holly has studied with some of the finest sculptors in the world... Audrey Swarz, Judith Klawitter, Barbara Van Noy and Jack Johnston. Holly has been named a "Master Sculptor" by virtue of completing the "invitation only" professional sculpting course with Jack Johnston.

Holly is a fanatic with jewelry-making as well... holding every certification known to mankind in precious metal clay, and has incorporated her sculpting skills into her fine silver work. Holly also enjoys making detailed, intricate beadwork pieces... truly one-of-a-kind.

Holly's "real life"

Holly started out as a music person (Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music from UT Austin - "hook 'em"). After playing professionally in Los Angeles for a few years, she decided to move back to Texas and get a REAL job. She was a programmer at IBM for about 15 years, then had the lobotomy and got into management. Holly is now Executive Director of Development and Project Management Office with CORT.

Holly's son (Richard) is attending The University of Texas in Austin.
